At the end of the 15th century, the citadel of Bran is subject to the authority of the szeklers' committee, responsible for the defense of the south-east Transylvania, and during the reign of Iancu de Hunedoara it passes under the dominion of the principality of Transylvania. Throughout the centuries the Bran citadel fulfilled its role as e defender against the Turkish invasion. |
